I think it deals with how many hits, RBIs, runs scored the player gets in a game. Not positive on that, but IIRC that is how it's determined.

Ah come on you can't be serious that the Tribe losing today with the number 3, 4 and 5 hitters out and Hannahan back after missing 11 games against the Sox best starter provides any kind of reality check.
