Do you guys think Hahn cares about the draft pick at this point? I think they do to an extent but they still sign Lohse and see what rides.
Gillespie is a contact/OBP guy which would work ok in small doses but I don't know if he has enough power to be a viable option at third.

As far as power from 3b....I dont really care what position is considered power or not power etc...its all about the bottom line. Do the numbers add up to what you want as a whole? thats all that matters. Supplement it in another position.

My concern is that the Sox didn't add more power this offseason, they lost it. He is replacing Youk and Pierzynski. They're missing HR's right now and for whatever reason their offense works better with power.
