Bit weird...

So Ervin Santana just started following a whole lot of White Sox media folk and bloggers.

Not really sure how sense he would make but oddly enough, I wouldn't complain.

Doing some research on the Santana topic & weirdly enough, there are some small, speculative reports dating back to last week that are reporting some Sox interest.

If you trade Dunn, you're eating $$$ (which the Sox fucking hate doing), and the return is going to be minimal.

If you move him now from some random replacement level (or a little better player), you're still paying at least $7.5M for Dunn and you take away our only real home run threat, as of now. Too early to judge Abreu, Davidson. De Aza and Tank can swing 20ish, but not the 40+ potential Dunn gives you. Also; Paulie sucks now.

And frankly, as much as people hate Dunn, his absence probably hurts the team more than it helps.

Best case scenario for Dunn haters is that he has a monster first half, and you can move him at the dead line, unless the Sox are some how in the race. Which, is probably unlikely.

They don't do it and I agree, you aren't getting much for him. Everyone was on the table last year per Hahn and no one came calling for Dunn.

100% true. His value resides soley in making our young hitters better protected this season. He needs to be there to protect the youth in the lineup.

Blue Jays out on Santana. O's got Jimenez. Wonder where he'll go. Boy he's getting shafted lol.

Considering Abreu and Johnson are most likely breaking camp with the major league club, can you really count them as prospects?

Well they have tanaka on there. I count Johnson because he's a prospect. He's unknown. All of our young players under 26 I consider prospects
