The Sox rank 26th in era. Fix that and they're a serious contender.

in order to fix that you need 2 starting pitchers with one of them being a legit number 2. You just cant "fix" it without giving up talent that we do not have in our system. There are too many buyers and not enough sellers to where the market can come down. you will be overpaying.

yes. guys like tank and flowers are coming back down to earth, de aza should go up...either way they are in the middle of the league in avg,obp,ops and only 8th in homeruns, so as of now, yes they need ALOT more than an era fix to be "serious contenders"

The last 30 days our pitching is around 6th in the AL or just short of the upper third. Gotta take that considering what we have been able to work with.

This off season we need one solid pitcher (Minors or FA) to add with Sale, Danks, Q
We need one, but I would like two relievers that have higher K/BB ratios.

We need another consistent hitter somewhere in the lineup. A .280 type hitter with 20 HRs and an OPS of .850 (Avisail?)

Why is Belisario still on this team? And Downs? Hell they have at least five guys on the pitching staff that do not deserve to be on any major league roster. This is screwed up. I do not "f" in understand this a bit. There is half of the damn pitching staff that sucks. I cannot remember this happening in my memory.

I am disgusted with this pitching staff over-all. In my book they do not a decent relief pitcher in that bull-pen. And as for their starting pitchers, they can only go 3 deep. I really cannot remember a White Sox staff this bad over-all. Two guys on and Mauer up. They put Alexi close to the bag at second to hold the runner leaving a hole on the left side of the infield. You could see the look in Mauers eyes the entire at bat. HE then ropes a shot over De Aza's head in left which he broke wrong on in the first place. He is a bad outfielder. And the next guy up they play the same way pretty much that they played Mauer. Single to left, run scores. Easy peezy lemon squeezy.

Trade DeAza for a sack of peanuts. He is terrible. He can hit one pitch. A low and in breaking ball. The worst thing that happened to this guy is when he hit those home-runs in the first game. He tries to lift everything with an upper-cut swing. Get rid of the guy. I don't care who they bring up.
