Alexi is absolutely stinging the ball in virtually every at bat. Even his outs are line drives at somebody. I don't know if I've ever seen a guy so zoned
in to good at bats:)

If the Sox had better options, you probably wouldn't even see Noesi in a Sox uni.

I hope Robin is fired. This is unacceptable.

Flowers' has declined at the plate, but a starting with a .600 BABIP will do that.

I do not really blame Robin on losing that game against the Angels. Some wanted him to bring in a reliever. I don't blame him for not doing it. Who does he bring in? His options were pretty damn limited. Sale had made Trout look pretty silly before in his ABs didn't he? So with a 3-2 count and everyone and their brother knowing that sale had to throw a fastball, Sale threw a great change-up. I would bet that there are only a handful of guys who could have hit that pitch where it was located while looking for a fastball out of the ball-park into center field.

So..... hindsight being 20-20, who would you bring in?

The team has been a tale of two halves. Right now the last two weeks the pitching has been dominant and the offense has been 1906ish. I'm hopeful we can get a stretch where both the offense and the pitching are top five for a period of time. It would be nice.

Flowers is 2 for his last 37, with 19 K's.
