They talked about Frank and I agree, Abreu needs to bat in the first

Teams interested in Viciedo lol.

Other teams have already approached the White Sox about him, including the contending Mariners and Giants, according to one major league source. The Mariners, the source said, would consider trading 23-year-old right-hander Brandon Maurer as part of a two-player package for him, so it's reasonable to expect that the Red Sox would have to be willing to part with one of their young arms (Brandon Workman, Rubby De La Rosa, Allen Webster) to acquire him.

Cardinals are inquiring with teams about starting pitching, source says. They have Wacha, Garcia, Kelly on DL. @FOXSports1

Cardinals also in the market for a hitter. They have not had much production at second base this year.

Danks + Beckham for anything out of that system is faptastic.

I think Viciedo, Beckham, Danks and Dunn are moved for sure. Ramirez, maybe as price is "high" but again that is the cost for a SS who hits, fields well, and has a undervalued contract.

I do not trade Viciedo. I think that he has made a lot of progress this season both on offense and defense. I think that he is coming into his own as a legit major league player.

I believe that your best hitter on the team should bat 3rd. Abreau is by far the best hitter on the team Connor should bat 2nd.

I do not think that it matters to him where he bats in a line-up but the odds that he comes on with runners on base is better when he bats 3rd than if he bats fourth I believe. Eventually teams are going to really begin to work around him because of that bozo that bats behind him. It is only because he has awesome plate coverage that it isn't happening right now because he can reach and hurt pitches out of the zone.

I gotta say that Viciedo's value probably will not be any higher than right now after what he is doing to the M's, who are apparently interested in him. He almost hit another homer yesterday and got a key double yesterday after going 4-4 on Friday.

I've been a very high backer of this guy and if they trade him it had better be for someone who can immediately help this team and not some prospect in the minors. THe M's also have got to try and counter what the A's have done to improve themselves so they might be willing to part with two of their pitchers for Viciedo.

I'm beginning to really like this Cuban catcher, particularly at bat. He should play some winter ball and strengthen himself up as well as work with someone on his catching skills. But he sees the ball well and has a quick bat. I think that he has a future beyond being a back-up.

Read in the news today that Cooper has made a couple of changes to the release point and follow-thru of Noesi which kind of go together. Getting the point higher typically will allow more down movement with the change-up which is very important. When you flatten the release point out it doesn't have as much down
movement. Cooper has been working a lot with Noesi quite a bit and it apparently is starting to pay off.
