I don't get going after bench help. Only bench help the Sox would need is a utility guy to replace Hudson.

what im saying is we need a player that can fill in for ramirez. he cant play everyday and combine wear of a season and him possibly still a bit ouchy from the collision he could drop off. hudson is what he is, but im fine with him being able to play good defense at 2b to give gordon a break. im kinda surprised bacon hasnt gotten a day off and have hudson play once a week or so. I do wish johnson was up here as well as he would be a good bench guy. the last time he played the outfield was in 2010 maybe a few games in charlotte in the outfield would make him more valuable as a bench guy. just speculating

Don't understand why you guys want Johnson up. Just don't get it. Danks can play all fields and there are three players who can play first base. I'd be fine with getting a player who could play SS/2B to replace Hudson and give some rest to those guys.

A lefthanded stick is always nice to have off the bench. he isnt great but he is doing ok in AAA with 23 hrs and a .405 OBP....dont know how it will transfer here but its a stick.

konerkos wrist may be better hence his swing for power looks ALOT better. im happy with what im seeing.

Konerko has been hot lately. I'd understand wanting Johnson called up if Konerko or Dunn were stinking it up, but it just doesn't make sense right now. In order to play him you'd either have to sit a left handed bat or sit Konerko who is hot. Just not the right time.

WHen Paulie had the wrist cleanup they said at the time there would be no lasting affects for this season. What makes us think his slump was wrist realted and if it was what caused him to be healed to go on this terror of late?
