I dont think we need to make any moves. I'm happy with Liriano, Meyers, Youk. However, I def wouldnt complain if we added more.

Apparently the Phillies pulled Lee back according to Howard Eskin at CBS.

Lots of speculation that the Yankees claimed him.

Yeah, that's why I disn't think the Sox claimed him. I was surprised a team claimed him. He is a good pitcher, but I would have gave him to the team for nothing. He's already 34 and that contract notgetting any better. Also, his stats are gunna decrease.

I would have been fine with it, but it just doesn't make sense.

Supposedly the Phils were asking for top prospects and weren't going to pay any of that ridiculous buyout or any other part of his contract. So yeah no surprise that this didn't happen. Really not surprised that a team claimed him because he still is a top of the rotation pitcher and as bad as the contract looks the price of pitching is catching up to it fast.
