I had a friend that had one that was bitey and mean as hell. He came charging at me on a dark road when he saw me in a street light. I backed him down til the owner could get over to him, but that ****** was sketchy!!!
Incidentally he also died very young when he got hit by a car...

We had a 200 lb St Bernard that was too much dog. He was great with women and kids but would bite men he didn't know. Lived to 8 and never did settle down.
