No...because I would like to think Reinsdorf like the half dozen other owners I just named in my last post...can walk and chew gum at the same time. I don't need the owner of the Chicago Bulls to have his own Bulls den in his home and wearing Chicago Bulls footie pajamas to bed at night. I need him to put the team in a position to succeed. Going over the LT for Rose IS A WORTHY CAUSE.
But what if he decides to take his talents to South Beach for less money when he finally realizes that The Bulls won't be winning a championship anytime soon with all the megateams in the NBA already built and ready for the next 5 years at least.......Rose should be looking at 30 by then. :shrug:

I hope that you are aware that he has cleared up the misunderstanding behind that statement many times over. I have my critiques for Jerry, but the fact is, he wants the Bulls to win as much as anyone here. Simply throwing money at players doesn't work, and can lead to even more trouble and a longer rebuilding phase.
