It saddens me that in this day and age crap like this counts as "reporting." Guess that's why I tend to view more stuff on fangraphs than say espn.

I'm not really defending the cards but that doesn't mean Puig isn't a clown. The way he flipped his bat as though he'd hit a no doubter home run was clownish. Honestly, I don't see why any one does that. If it's down the foul line and you're not sure ok fine wait at the plate but it's not like you hit a double into the gap and stand there and admire it so why do you when you THINK you might have a homer? Is it that hard to put a ball in play and then take off running? As for the celebrating after your on base, that's all fine with me.

The article was satire. It was done to appease anyone that wanted some sort of evidence no matter how tiny to show why the Cardinals are "evil." It was more an Onion piece than a news piece.

I'm honestly finding it hard to root for anyone in the LAD vs. STL series. I'm just rooting for more baseball since my girlfriend lets me watch like half of it :crying:

I always root for two teams. The Cubs of course, and anyone who is playing the Cardinals. :smug2:

Cardinal fans realize they live in a shithole, and therefore use baseball to vent their inferiority complex...particularly when it comes to Chicago.
