I read that as "Wilson knows he would have freedom to change the playbook and implement his own schemes and this would help Nagy keep his job." This has more to do with Wilson showing what he can do with what's worked for him..... not Nagy helping him get to that next level.

That's my point. I was referring to the video saying Wilson wanted to come here supposedly because of the coaching..... that's BS. He knows he would call the shots here and that Nagy wouldn't stand in his way. Wilson would make the Bears better only if he's not implementing Nagy's playbook.

then why include the bears and not those other teams? you really think Nagy is the only HC to let a QB of Wilson’s caliber call the shots? look at Arians with Brady. he lets Brady coach the team.

Sure a guy like Wilson can do that on any team, but I don't see that happening at the Saints or maybe Dallas as their offensive schemes are better and more stable than ours... especially Saints. Raiders on the other hand are such a mess with Gruden you never know what to expect from them. And besides, Arians needed a guy like Brady as they were having losing seasons even though Arians had only one year with the team (which is not too fair to judge him honestly).

I agree. The Bears HC + GM are in relatively weak positions, compared to other teams. Wilson would have Brady-like power + influence if he came to the Bears.

I’m ok with that.

I actually thought the Raiders looked pretty tough this year

After their first win, I hope Wilson pushes Nagy aside and takes over the BOOM in Club Dub. Then looks Nagy in the eyes and says “This is my team now, bitch”

i’m not sure if dallas’ scheme is better. they have much better players for sure. that’s one of the most talented offenses in football i’m not sure how much of their success is strictly scheme. the other side of the brady / arians coin is brady would never have even considered arians if he didn’t have a high opinion of him, similar to how russ apparently feels about Nagy

If the Bears get Wilson I’ll run across my bathroom naked.
I would have run down the street but at my age I don’t want to frighten people.

Wilson would instantly make Monty a top 2 Fantasy back and probably a pro bowler.

wilson wants to be the focal point of the offense where ever he ends up...in chicago he knows nagy loves to throw being a former QB so wilson will get to be that focal point of the offense...Same goes for the saints, raiders and probably the cowboys even though zeke is a freak at the RB spot. For as much disdain I have for nagy, this past season showed how much he was willing to adapt to win and thats going to be another positive for wilson, he's up against a brick wall in seattle with pete carroll having BB esque power...

You sure you weren't watching film on the 76 Raiders? Cause the 2020 Raiders were definitely not tough.

I dont think our online is too bad - we def could upgrade at both tackle positions but it's not totally critical. They played well the last quarter as they settled in.

Mostly Wilson just wants to sling it 50+times a game I think.

Perfect for for Nagy

They got better when Mustipher came in and kept Cowturd on the bench
