You know who are the shit heads? To think that momentum doesn't matter is an opinion not fact. It's an opinion of a lot of players, coaches and experts. I'm sure just as many feel it doesn't matter. Winning is as much about a mentality as it is skill. You can have a team comprised of the best players and if they've got a losing mentality or lack confidence then they will generally make mistakes and lose. Look at the Redskins as an example of that.
My opinion is that there are a lot of twenty-something smart ass punks on this site who don't have enough life experience.
The bottom line is that I love sports and especially football. I'm of the opinion that you can learn a lot about life from playing and watching sports. Sports, however, is not life. It's entertainment. Why would anyone take it any more seriously than a movie at the end of the day? People around here need to remove the sticks from their asses and lighten the fuck up. There's enough seriousness in the world with the economy on the brink of collapse and a government and corporations that have gotten way too big for their britches. I'm sorry if at the moment seeing our leaders make some serious changes to cut spending and create jobs and raise the debt limit so America doesn't default on its loans at which point we would become a third world country are things I take more seriously than the outcome of a game. The Bears losing doesn't affect my life, however, every decision the President, Congress and House make does. My very survival depends on them doing the right thing, everyone's does.
A little levity is required in this day and age.
