Why would we? The Cubs had the best record in the league, they should have home field. I've been bitching about this for years. It's only worse this year because the Cubs finally make the World Series, they get robbed of something they rightfully earned.

Trying to explain anything to a person from Cleveland with logic and reason is basically impossible. Their collective IQ in that whole cesspool of a city makes Forest Gump look like a genius.

When a guy pitches like that you just have to hand it to him and move on. Lester has battled all night but got rattled by baserunners and an inconsistent zone early. It happens. This is hard game to be angry about and it's not like they still don't have a shot.

I have never liked the ASG deciding home field, but have no complaint with it just because we have best tecord.

It is what it is. Deal with it and win.

I also have never liked 2-3-2, which opens possibility if team with home field advantage losing a series in which they plsyed fewer at home. Cleveland has that to complain about.

There is no statistical evidence that baserunners rattle Lester. He had something like a 2.95 ERA in games with multiple stolen bases. His command wasn't great and he was getting squeezed early. It happens.
