I'll give you an example. I can't stand Metallica. I wouldn't make a post that they are the worst and haven't heavily influenced the music scene in their genre. I couldn't give 2 craps whether you like her music or not. I wouldn't be caught dead at one of her concerts, but that doesn't mean she's not a decent entertainer.

Ok, I get it...but check this out. If you don't have time to listen to this full version, pick it up at 5:20. From 7:30 on is musical bliss. Yes, I love live DMB. Thier concerts keep it real. Perhaps it's because I play guitar, cello and other instruments. I really appreciate all the "chaos" of this song. Check it.

IMO, they all are. I know that Dave is grating to some. There is always a sellout factor when you hit it big and they did in the early 2000s. But for the old school fans, the concerts never disappoint. Make sure you are in the pit/field.
One thing you will notice though, as we always notice at their shows, is there will be roughly 25% of the crowd that looks confused. They are the ones who came to see Crash, Space Between, and other poppy hits. When a 20 minute version of Jimi Thing or Two step hit their ears, they will be very confused.
And oh yeah, bring your best weed.

They put on a great show this past summer for me and mine. I am sad about Leroi as well, but they are doing a good job IMO. Sometimes it takes two horn players!
