My favorite teams
Yeah, the list doesn't have Sean Payton (who is the 8th guy) but I was surprised at how often trading for a coach pays off.
So was I....With Sean that makes it three SB wins with their previous team and pending on what he does at Denver, 10 SB wins after a coach was traded. That means 22% of SBs were won by a coach who was at some point traded. Shula lost four, Belichick lost three and Holmgren lost one. That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. Wow!....that's 36% of SBs has had a HC in it that was traded! And none of those games had both HCs in them that was traded. I don't know all of Gruden's, Edwards or Ariens coaching careers, but the others I do remember. So, can it be more than 36%?
