This isn’t close to being true, even for the date of the tweet.

These are the actual updated numbers for their last 17 games:

Jackson
31 total TDs
4,842 total yards
14 giveaways
102.7 rating

Fields
25 total TDs
4,128 total yards
17 giveaways
85 rating

Even for the time of the tweet, they counted all Fields’ TDs but only Jackson’s passing TDs.

They have to fudge numbers just to make them look somewhat comparable.

The OP that posts this information should double check before posting lies like this though. This debate between Lamar and Fields shouldn’t even be a debate

So 10 points is the difference between trash and mvp?
It is when one of them has a +17 turnover margin and the other one has a +8.

Also, when one of them has over 700 yards more, 6 more TDs, and 3 fewer giveaways.

For the record I think McCaffrey should be MVP anyways. Total yard leader and I think he’s the non qb TD leader too. (Tied)
The issue their is the team he plays on...several good players on offense...waters down MVP discussion for him...rightly or wrongly

That’s a legit argument.

Seems crazy to me
I can’t speak for others, but I don’t think Fields is trash. He’s certainly capable of having good games, so I would never call him trash. I’m just saying, yes, that can be the difference between a good quarterback and a sub-par quarterback.

I wouldn't hesitate to trade for 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson: 113.3 rating, 3,127 yds, 36 TD, 6 int (15 games).

Everything about Caleb will depend on how teams view his mental makeup. He can run & pass at an elite level, but can he be a leader of men and can he be a respectable face of the franchise??

I think there are issues with his play that people gloss over...

He hangs on to the ball a long time. I don't think its just a matter of his mental makeup...

People are under the assumption he is the pinnacle of football play.

I don't worry about him hanging on to the ball when he is big play hunting, it's the spotty accuracy he shows at times. I've watched him repeatedly overthrow receivers and also miss wide open receivers.

He isn't the perfect prospect people make him out to be. What he does do better than Justin is display pocket presence. Caleb is truly great at feeling pressure and escapability.

This is a fact, Lamar is better than Justin at this point of their careers. The bigger point the OP was likely trying to make is that Justin isn't horrible and if surrounded with better coaching and playmakers he can likely attain similar numbers as a league MVP.

Yeah, totally. Where has journalist integrity gone? Does the OP not respect the sanctity of CCS? How absolutely irresponsible is it for someone random internet dude posting on a message board to not double or triple check his facts before posting a tweet?! Is this an indication we’ve devolved as society to the point where one can’t simply just trust a random forum post anymore?

I hope the shame and stigma the OP feels last through generations of generational QB talent prospects and, if there is justice in this world, his progeny will also know the sting of his posting malfeasance! For shame!

Lol

(yall are silly af. Hate to break this to you but what’s done on this forum really has zero significance on anything substantial in real life or with the Bears.)

Only 6 teams were worse than the Bears in pressures allowed
Can't go by that cause some QBs are just holding the ball much longer than others.

2 QBs left in the playoffs saw more pressure than Fields. What's so special about them? Their extremely low % of pressures turned into sacks. Only ~ 10% of pressures result in sacks in the case of Josh Allen. Only ~ 11% of pressures result in sacks with Patrick Mahomes. Compare that to the ~ 19% of pressures that result in sacks with Fields. Quite a difference.
