  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
They need to come together now. Like I said in another post, they lack chemistry and continuity at the moment.

Also, whoever posts that Sheridan article I'm going to pounce on you.
Well like I said somewhere earlier, the Cavs went through a similar stretch of suckitude (poor defense, questions about players' commitment to Blatt, etc) and seem to come through it ok. I don't see why the Bulls can't do the same.

Remember last year when they were 9-16 or something like that? They turned the corner and became a better team... for the regular season. At this point I'd rather be struggling now than in March/April like the Pacers were last year after firing on all cylinders in November/December.

The Bulls were just 13-2 in December while nearly everyone was healthy, so I do think they can turn it around and I don't feel like anyones turned off Thibodeau.

So we shall see what happens here, but as Noah and Dunleavy return eventually I expect things to become better. There's still alot of season left.

I agree. Early struggles are better than late struggles. Best that this team get all that out of the way now than become the Pacers of last year. It's too early to declare the season a wasted effort for sure.

Sure, anything can happen between now and playoff season. Expecting a different outcome based on the recent past might be unrealistic, given Thib's coaching style, poor play and the constant injuries.

You say the Bulls are good enough to beat any team in the east. How do you see them beating DC or ATL in a playoff series?

I don't know if you remember the 1994 Hawks...Mookie Blaylock, Kevin Willis, and later on, Danny Manning, Lenny Wilkens was their coach...that team came out of nowhere and would take the conference. However, they didn't get past Indiana in the second round. I never really believed that they would contend. They had no star players. I feel the same way about this Hawks team.

On paper, the Bulls are better than those teams. The effort is not there right now. Blame it on the players, Thibs, whoever. But I doubt that the season is over. And if I am not mistaken, the Bulls did beat Washington earlier this season. I don't think its impossible.

Nice to see you proving me wrong about being a contrarian.

im not really sure about that...especially not better than Wiz on paper

i think talent wise they are pretty evenly matched

however Wiz bigs own ours and they shut out Jimmy Butler every time

I can't remember how Pau did in our first game against them, but we did beat them...badly before this last game. We beat them in preseason too IIRC. They are perhaps a tougher matchup than other teams in the East due to their bigs, but I don't think they're definitively better.

Gasol on Thibs: "Honestly, I don't think Tom is that hardcore. I don't think we practice that hard."

Gasol said Thibs encouraged players to speak in Monday meeting. Thought it was important in terms of getting players back on same page.

Thibs: "I have great respect for our guys. To be sitting here at 27-16 with all the games and practices they missed is a credit to them."

Gasol on today's practice: “Mostly competition. We needed to get that edge back. We needed to get that aggressiveness back in our game."

Does any of this sound like a team that is falling apart? Or a team in dire straits? Or a team that has completely tuned out it's head coach?

Sheridan is a moron. He thinks that since he "broke" the Lebron story that he's the new Stephen A. so now he's trying to find fire where there's no smoke, or just create a fire himself just to watch the pretty colors when it burns.

This coming from someone who predicted that the Wizards would beat the Bulls in the playoffs last year (against popular opinion)- the Wizards are definitely better right now. But I think that the Bulls really have a lot of clear upside. So the Bulls definitely can be better than the Wizards. No guarantees they will be by post season, but definitely a chance.

Wizards and Cavs are the only teams I fear in a playoff series in the East (if the Bulls haven't fallen apart by then). Raptors and Hawks don't scare me.

The Bulls just need to solve the issue of Washington's big's. If they can do that, they can beat the Wizards in a 7 game series.

Our bigs:

Noah
Gasol
Gibson
Mirotic

WAS bigs:

Gortat
Nene
Humphries
Seraphin
Gooden
Blair

Not a whole lot of quality after their starters.

Sheridan said LeBron would announce his return to Cleveland through lebronjames.com. LeBron went through SI. So while he had Cleveland right, the means was way wrong.

The guy is a load of shit.

Mike McGraw of Daily Herald.

Sheridan looks like Dudditz from that laughably bad Stephen King's Dreamcatcher movie.
