It's not your fault. Some people just aren't blessed with vision or foresight.

Unfortunately for you, and knowing Scoot's history, his foresight has been solid as far as the NBA goes for many years. Your's? Not so much, you just complain and call everyone homers when they disagree with you.

It's okay, when the Bulls get healthy and start winning games, you historically disappear. Why is that? Do you have PMS all the time?

Uh-huh, you keep telling yourself that. I've been a Bulls fan for 30+ years now. I know how to tell the difference between a great team, and a team that's good enough to sell tickets.

Half the fan base does not like to think or question, or understand anything. They'll believe whatever the media tells them about the team. There's a wee bit of madness in that, but I'm not judging. Good luck with the blind faith, it hasn't worked too well for Cubs fans.

Oh, and the reason I don't post stuff everytime the Bulls grind out some meaningless victory against teams they're supposed to beat anyway is simple. Regular season wins don't interest me with the Bulls.

How they're winning, and who was playing and who wasn't is what's important. Frankly, what's going on with this team is what happens every year during the Noah/Rose era. That's why I don't buy into the hype.

Keep telling myself what exactly? That you only participate to ***** and whine? Same shtick every thread. Homer/meatball/koolaid/cubs fans, mediocrity. Just find more ways to say the same thing. Wah wah wah, cry cry cry.

You only post when the team goes through down periods. Gotcha. So far, regular season doesn't matter(I guess you're a "real" basketball fan) and playoffs don't matter. So basically, nothing matters.

But everyone that disagrees with you, does?

God you're naive. That's right, I ***** and whine about the teams I follow. It's part of being a fan, and if you're not doing it, what is the point. In order to enjoy life, you have to care about something. Otherwise, there is no point.

You are a fan that bitches and wines about fans who give a shit enough to care. Quit wasting everyone's time with your nonsense. Don't visit Chicago sports forums on the internet if you don't want to hear complaints about teams/players.

If you don't like the thread, start a new one about how great the team is. Hell, hold a pep rally if it floats your boat. But please stop screwing up these threads if you have nothing to contribute to the discussion one way or the other.

What is your point? I think you need to re-read the title to this thread and make some attempt to stay on topic.

I have no issues with criticism. I criticize as well. But you are 100% negativity, and when you don't get your way or make your point, you then continue to frame anything in disagreement to be in some other extreme. Such as a person who might like cats instantly hates dogs.

It's of no use. I have had this argument with negative defected persons on the internet going into 4 decades now, nearly nothing seems to open the eyes of someone with the mental illness(not a put down, but an actual disorder recognized in psychology, also known as a chronic complainer, which is different from a pessimist).

Nah, I just speak the truth and do it very well. I say what many others have said, and many more think. You can't handle the truth about a basketball team, so you're engaging me personally. And that is pathetic, but something I've come to expect given the nature of public forums on the internet.

Who cares about "competing" in the playoffs? They do that every year. Half the league will make the playoffs, that's not an accomlishment, especially for this team and this coach.

Oh you mean the coach that "has to go" because the team has tuned him out?

But wait a minute.... I thought they didn't stand a chance cuz you know they like suck and stuffz?? Uggh my brain is hurting from all the hypocrisy.

Thibs needs more than regular season wins to keep his job.

Give your brain a rest now.

The team will be fine...and I am going to need someone else besides Rose to complain about the state of the team. I've been thinking all this time that Rose only gave a damn about...Rose.

Thibs is who he is. He may not be the guy that takes you to the promise land...he might just get them close enough to see it from a distance. They may need another coach to take them there. I really don't know. However, I do believe this team is good enough to beat any team in the east in a playoff series. There is plenty of time to get things together...but Thibs will not be happy until the defense improves...I don't care if they score 130ppg.

Sure, anything can happen between now and playoff season. Expecting a different outcome based on the recent past might be unrealistic, given Thib's coaching style, poor play and the constant injuries.

You say the Bulls are good enough to beat any team in the east. How do you see them beating DC or ATL in a playoff series?

The key for the Bulls will be being completely healthy in April.

The Team is a well oiled machine, but only when all parts are working ...

Didn't Noah also somewhat complain about effort or something? Perhaps it was unrelated since it was at least a few games ago, before things got "super bad"

Noah said something to the media that was calling out the team, I forget when that was. I want to say after that Orlando game. They started well against Washington, but then collapsed in the 2nd half without Noah and have limped along since then.

Well Noah is our defensive anchor, even if hobbled so you expect to struggle a little bit at least. This is the worst we've seen, but it happens. Either way, the point is someone other than Rose also called out the team's effort. Someone's gotta light a fire under these guys because it seems that everyone's attitude is

:dontcare:

They need to come together now. Like I said in another post, they lack chemistry and continuity at the moment.

Also, whoever posts that Sheridan article I'm going to pounce on you.
