Karma is not a *****. Please learn the definition of karma before saying "karm is a *****"

There is no such thing as good karma or bad karma. Karma is just that, karma.

Not the way I understand it. Buddhists and Hindus say that Karma is the belief that everything is equal, correct? (Not so different than the whole yin/yang) So for every good act you do, you can expect to either cause or have an equally bad act.

Good Karma/Bad Karma....so Karma is quite capable of being a *****.

Ok, maybe it can be a *****, but I stand by that Karma is neither good nor bad.

THis is probably the wrong thread but...

On the Sportsnews tonight, Patrick Kane actually referred to Turco as being "an upgrade from what we had last year".

I'm not surprised that he thinks that (many others do too) but am surprised he said it publicly.

I used to be a Buddhist in my younger years sort of. At least I pretended to be. :D

I always thought that Karma was just a way of measuring your spiritual status. If you did something bad, it had nothing to do with bad karma, but it did affect your karma negatively.

Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an extended expression or consequence of natural acts. Karma means "deed" or "act" and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction that governs all life. The effects experienced are also able to be mitigated by actions and are not necessarily fated. That is to say, a particular action now is not binding to some particular, pre-determined future experience or reaction; it is not a simple, one-to-one correspondence of reward or punishment.

Karma is not fate, for humans act with free will creating their own destiny. According to the Vedas, if one sows goodness, one will reap goodness; if one sows evil, one will reap evil. Karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determines our future. The conquest of karma lies in intelligent action and dispassionate response.

Like so many Hawk fans -- and players -- you're all about intelligent action and dispassionate response.

Because he's like a kid in a goddamn candy shop where Turco is concerned. Having been on the receiving end of a couple of sweetass Turco outlet passes in exhibition games (and who knows how many countless ones in practice), PK's goalie-crushing. . .HARD, heh. He just momentarily lost track of his diplomacy trigger and can't always filter or contain all that personal excitement about potential high-octane offensive strikes sugar plums dancing in his head anymore than a 6 y.o. at F.A.O. Schwartz in December,
