Ever since I purchased a new car and the automatic transmission left and now I'm driving a manual stick shift, I don't even bother using my phone. I have it on the passenger seat in case I get a call, but as a "youngster", most of my friends text me and I usually only get phone calls if it is important. I have my cell set up so I know who texts me based on a certain notification. If I hear the one that is my boss I'll usually check it and then call him at a stop. I am guilty of texting and driving in the past, but I rarely do it now as its not safe and it's tough to do that with a manual stick shift.

As mentioned previously, I'm so tired of people using their cell phones just because they can. They are thethered to it, any time they are in a position where they have to occupy themselves, instead they call someone and just talk, because they can and it's "free". I almost wish we could go back to where it was by the minute so people couldn't fucking talk so much. Free data, 10$ a minute to talk on your phone. Win.



I don't usually talk on my phone when I drive, but I don't drive much either. I will say that a long time ago when my phone could set up different tones for people, I did all that and then it just got to be annoying because it would do all sorts of different things and I'd still have to look at it to decided if I wanted to look at it... For as long as I can remember now, I've put my phone on Vibrate and nothing else. If you hear my phone ring, it's because it's broken and crying for help. Sure that means it usually has to be closer to me, and I still hear it vibrate, but it's makes me feel much less a slave to it than it crying out like a child and me running to it to paper it so it stops screaming.

I have on extremely rare occasion texted and drove but I only texted at red lights. Also it had to do with me picking someone up so we could go to work it wasnt just chatting. Also I have an Android with Google voice to text so I just have to talk.

I've noticed an ever popular trend in life, but facebook is the one that really made it come to light.



Ladies. Why must you keep going back to boyfriends who are shitty to you and cheat and lie to you? It's sad to see all these hot, attractive girls that I know who are in obvious crappy relationships, but choose to stay together with the "cheater/liar". They KNOW what he's doing, but they choose to stay in "lala-land" and reject the reality. Even when they catch him in the act, once he apologizes everything is back to a clean slate. I like to consider myself an honest and respectful person, but that does not mean that I will not be a complete jagoff or asshole. But I act that way around friends and in general, never to be disrespectful, just how I am. I would never treat a female that I was in a relationship like shit, and if I wanted to pursue other women, I'd become available and end the relationship I was currently in. I used to feel bad for these girls, but now I kind of just look away because there is no point if they are not going to change it.
