I feel the same way, football conversation is non existent around here these days. I was hoping football talk would come back once the season got going, but it seems like that might have been a pipe dream. I don't blame the mods however, I just blame our community as a whole for letting the cancer spread like wild fire.

I haven't, I usually buy it once the season is over and the price comes down a bit. I'm currently in my 7th season of my Dynasty draft, but I've been way occupied with FF the last few weeks so I haven't played in a bit.

This post isn't helping. You may have been better off going to the main page of the forum and going to the section on 'what would you like to see' and posting in there, or perhaps flagging something and talking to one of the mods on the board or are normally more than happy to take into consideration any complaints. Lastly, I see plenty of football discussion on the board, and coming from a guy who has 149 posts on a message board, you must do alot of reading and not a whole lot else.

This place is a community as much as anything, one that I enjoy. I'm one of those guys who posts gifs so I am no angel, but there has been plenty of football talk in many threads, including that wonderful 200 page stonker on Cutler. There has been a couple of threads on the chicken and egg theory inregards to Tucker or the D, which came first and then the threads on the final 53, and who people would like to see in the PS or perhaps even be placed onto the 53 man roster.

You have a thorn in your side because you ploughed into a thread, and decided to ***** about the board and got a suitable response. Honestly, don't leave, but truthfully I couldn't give a flying **** if you don't come back.

Case in point. ^^^ I'm new and already am looking for another Bears forum. I couldn't agree more. After reading some posts for a few days, it seems like there are about 5-10 losers here that are completely immature, and do nothing but antagonize. Very silly, imo.

Unfortunately, I think you are right.

Some posters have certain "enemies" and attack every one of their posts, until it becomes simply a nonstop back and forth fight.

As for the gifs, I don't attack people who post them, but I certainly don't come here looking for something like this. And there are times it seems that those who post them can't seem to post anything but gifs.

But I have yet to see an online forum with anonymous posters that stays 100% civil. The users need to police it themselves, by not responding to trolls, attacks, etc. The worst thing you can do when someone is just looking for reaction by posting inflammatory crap, is to respond to it. (I can't claim I haven't fallen into this, so I am not casting stones.)

I would like to see much more mature discussion.

I don't agree with the cancer/Special person generalization, but yeah, that 40-yr old gif-posting crowd is ruling the roost, or at least the traffic.
