No spades and other shit here, you are a donator, so I guess you carry more weight, but as Gibbs said, once the season kicks in this place will talk football with a sprinkling of meatball thrown in for good measure Sunday to Sunday.

I doubt it nick, but we'll see. The best article to be posted here in months was mocked from post 1 because it was too long and he couldn't be bothered to read it, yet he has opinions on everything ... I like football, not teenaged mind games.

I just opened your posts in here out of pure curiosity. Was about what I expected.

With the amount of times you've disliked me, I'd have to say that's not true.

There are a good amount of threads that have football talk in them, they may however turn into a personal attack on each other, just due to the dislike some posters have with each other. Some this dislike still stems from the CBMB, but if a thread pops up that has nothing to do with the Bears or any real issue of football. It is going to turn into a gif parade, and get derailed quickly.

Case in point the Rexxxxx thread made by MRG, that thread really has no substance of football, or Bears related. It took a turn for purgatory hell as it should have.

I love this place, and enjoy the never know what you will find in a thread aspect to this place.

You want more football talk? Then post football threads. You're hardly a regular contributor here. Post more about things you want to talk about. Engage people and converse. Put posters you don't like on ignore.

I know, **** everyone not being able to have everything they want, when they want it. The world should concede to everyone's needs.

This board may not be perfect, but if I was that upset about it, I wouldn't start a stink about it not being the way I want it. I can accept the fact that there may be many others outside of myself that love it the way it is. If I didn't like it here, I would like to think I would quietly leave and find someplace better suited for me. And if I couldn't find that place and it meant that much to me, I would start my own board, formatted around want I believe is ideal.

If this place was as bad as some of you want to make us believe, then you know what would change things for sure, if members left. Then the owners would want to reevaluate their policies. As long as you are here adding to the numbers, making this a popular place, then generally things will proceed as coursed.

As for the general lack of football talk right now it's because I'm preseasoned out. I fucking hate preseason. The games are terrible and everyone freaks out. If I see one more Tucker thread I'll :shot:. Once the games really mater I expect the football conversation to get a lot more serious.

Although I am perfectly capable of having a serious football talk intermingled with GIF's. I'm just talented like that bros....

I feel the same way, football conversation is non existent around here these days. I was hoping football talk would come back once the season got going, but it seems like that might have been a pipe dream. I don't blame the mods however, I just blame our community as a whole for letting the cancer spread like wild fire.

The quality of the Bears forum during preseason is directly related to the quality of the NFL during preseason. Gifs and ironic humor expand to fill the void of anything meaningfully football related and then shrink again when the season starts. The mods have been tightening things down in the last couple of weeks and that's as it should be. Honestly if you want more football and less bromance and tomfoolery then go away and come back in a week.
