i played the shit out of 1 and 2, but became bored of them. i have 3 and hardly play it. i doubt i get 4. if i do start up 3, i just build homes, i dont actually care for the ppl part of the game anymore.

same game, less content.

So sad about Madden. I used to love that game so much. Played in online leagues on the PC and it was amazing. Too fucking bad they had to add shit every year, just breaking their game over and over on a 1 year dev cycle, just to justify forcing people to pay $60 a year for roster updates.

Me too. I used to demolish people in that game. It became too arcade to the point that novices could keep up with serious Madden gamers. Strategy became useless.

Couple other games that deserve honorable mention. Bully and The Warriors for PS2. I would love for both to get a ground up remake like they did for Oddworld, which I intend on buying when the price drops. Would love to see the God of Wars get this treatment as well.

yeah i loved baseball stars back in the day.. the create function is standard now a days, but back then it was revolutionary - plus you could keep stats. one of my older brothers was a stat nerd and use to keep stats on paper with his paper created teams while playing "baseball" on the nes
