Completely forget about Resident Evil. I played part 2 to death. Forgot about GTA as well. I beat GTA 3 a million times. I love games that have a solid story and plenty of re-playability. Other honorable mentions are the Madden games, where I used to dominate. MVP Baseball. Battletoads, Contra, Tecmo Super Bowl. Another game I dominated. I could go the whole season and not throw 10 incompletions with Harbaugh. My friend tried to play me once and I dominated him with The Fridge and Neal Anderson. This was probably a decade since I had last played LOL.

Resident Evil 2 was the shit. That was the first game where I realized they aren't just toys for kids.

Also, when I played that, I worked at a restaurant and was on the food service schedule. So I always after midnight when everyone else in the house was asleep and it was dark. Shit was scary as hell.

BTW bot, I'm sure they'll have a PS3 emulator out soon, if they don't already, once the PS4 gains enough popularity. You'll be able to play Uncharted then. I got emulators for my old systems that I gave away/sold and only downloaded the games I really missed. I found coolroms.com a few months ago because I was dying to play Link to the Past. I seriously defeated the game in one sitting.

Yeah... I could just buy a PS3 off ebay or some shit too. But I am really hoping for remastered versions with graphics updates. The games seem so beloved, its hard to imagine they won't get the next gen treatment. I just hope it happens soon cause I am ready to sell my PS4.

Yeah, that's why I bought em, I keep hearing good things. Had a GameStop coupon for buy 2 get 1 free used games and ended up getting all 3 for like $25.

Another one I highly recommend is Heavy Rain. That game hooked me from the start. I'm going to have to buy it to see all the different endings.

I'm a bit off topic here but has anyone seen the new gameplay video for Legend Of Zelda Wii U? It's open world and looks stunning.

Nintendo should just suck it up and release a zelda for next gen consoles and PC. I guess they need it to sell their hardware, but **** it would be so great and they would have to use trucks to move the piles of money.

I'd buy em. I bought a gamecube for Zelda: Windwaker.

If they ever made a Pokemon open world RPG on console, I would buy that console in a heartbeat.

I was going to say the same thing. I already have a Wii U and Pokemon isn't really my thing but they would make ridiculous amounts of money.

I loved those games and played them to death. I haven't played the new ones cause I didn't want to spend money on a new device for just one game but an open world RPG on a console is a big difference.

I tried it on my brother's 3DS, which is an excellent consoles for RPG's btw. I would def play it on Wii U tho.

I could've swore I saw a beta of an open world RPG of Pokemon, not sure though. I have to admit, I feel conflicted knowing i'm almost 30 and still having the urge to play Pokemon. I better mow the lawn in a spartan helmet just to even things out.

Th us is how I view Pokemon it doesn't matter if it is geared more toward a younger crowd a lot of good games are. Everything about it makes it a fantastic RPG so as I've gotten older it's less about the pokemon side and more of the RPG side. I have always loved both but they have since flip flopped.
