All time favorite: Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain on Playstation. Top-down hack and slash. The voice acting- at the time- was ground breaking. Hoping they do a remake with modern technology.

My favorite teams
  1. Tennessee Volunteers
1. NHL 95 - played it for too many hours on end, even when 96 and 97 came out
2. Mortal Kombat - first game that made my jaw drop
3. Evercrack
4. Contra - played it so often that i knew where to fire before the computer character would show up on screen
5. Super Mario Brothers - who didn't try to beat the game on 1 life?

I'm not sure I have complete specifics but here goes:

1) Tony Hawk Pro Skater - The first one was phenomenal and I spent plenty of my youth trying to land a 900. Plus the soundtrack was awesome.

2) NFL Blitz for N64 - X-cross offensive play and chipping it back to your running back to bomb down the field.

3) NHL Hitz- The 3v3 version on Xbox was sick. Especially where I would goad my buddies goalie into fighting, kick the shit out of him, and then light up his backup.

4) Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 & 3 - I spent way too much time on this playing with my buddies on 360, but we had a blast.

5) NHL 14 and FIFA 14 - NHL 14 was great as it had all the content on it but was finally hitting its stride. FIFA 14 was awesome as I just started getting into soccer games and it was pretty simple to just pick up and play and not need to memorize different shit to score.

No particular order
1.) Wing Commander (all of them)
2.) Gemstone III
3.) Fallout (multiple)
4.) General Chaos (The game is good, but for nostagic reasons mostly. See Avatar... AOL would let me have the username General Chaos in 7th grade)
5.) Doom II

These probably aren't my ultimate most enjoyable games to play and I think there were better games that I've played but these are probably the five games that shaped me as a game the most and each one of them triggers a very vivid distinct memory and time in my life.

Gotta throw in Syphon Filter for the original Playstation. Awesome game- kick ass weapons- tons of cool missions.

Lol, I remember that one. Isn't it a baseball game for the 2600? When Intellivision came out, I was like damn, it can't get any better than this.

I remember when I first saw the original PlayStation. The graphics were mind blowing. It was the biggest jump in graphics I had seen at that point. Console wise anyway, I know PC has the ability to blow consoles out of the water.

1. Civilization Series - I cannot just name one of them
2. Everquest - What an amazing game. Still no MMO today that compares to what it originally offered. I played the Bard class and there has simply been no game that has been able to reproduce that gaming experience for me.
3. Lords of the Realm 2 - Played the shit out of it
4. Skyrim - One of the most enjoyable single player games of this type I have ever played.
5. The original Doom when we made our own maps and played over lan

Honorable mentions
XCOM - UFO Defense
Might and Magic Series
Wizardry Series
Assassins creed 4 black flag - What an amazing game.
