My daughter was good enough to play little league but fast pitch softball out here is a big thing so she played it through high school. As I told my kids, she was the best hitter of the three of them:)

As a side story, my daughter played with the daughter of her fast pitch coach. This girl was a large girl, not fat just big. She was a pitcher and man could she bring it! THe bad part of the story was that her high school team used her up and her arm was ruined. Instead of getting a college scholarship she got nothing. Was a really bad case of bad coaching.
Should have hired a babysitter to count pitches.

Never played with or against a girl on a baseball team, but I imagine it's pretty demoralizing for a player/team to see a girl throwing darts up there.

in junior high before a wrestling meet, I lost on purpose in practice so I could wrestle a girl on the school we were wrestling. Other team coach was pissed cause he knew what I did. I just wanted an easy match that day, and felt like being lazy.

What did you wrestle at? I was 168 but only weighed about 155. We had an open spot and I could pin every **** on the team within a minute.

I cut to wrestle at 118 in jr high. It was funny as shit though, i was already 6ft tall at 13, and weighed about 130-135. I looked like a giraffe until i hit high school and filled out.

Week 1 is in the books. All 3 of my soccer teams did good. My U5 team with my youngest did about as expected with kids under 5. My son decided to fight this other kid, and gave him a Suplex, kid is so damn violent sometimes. U8 team pitched a shutout won 4-0, ball only crossed midfield once in 1st half, and the team had only 1 shot on goal. Kids were on attack the whole game. Oldest son hit a 58 foot shot on an angle around the midfield line. Was an awesome shot. Daughter u10 team laid the smackdown in there game. We controlled the flow of the game. Looking forward to this weeks game.

Anothet fun week of games. Youngest son scored 2 goals in his u5 game. If anyone has ever got to watch u5 games they are funny as hell to watch. U10 daughters team tied agianst the best u10 coach in our league. It was nice to come away with a tie. Last year her team beat us 3 times by a combined score of 18-1. U8 son team pitched another shut out won 6-0. I honestly dont know if they will be beat. I also was asked to put together a u8 team to play an academy team agianst a different county. Was a fun game and we won 2-1, I put my son on the other team as they were short a player. The other coach complimented my son on his awareness, and generally feeling of the game. Telling his teammates were to line up, and always being in the right position. As a Dad was really proud, as his coach I felt like I was teaching him right.

Forgot about this thread. My u8 team finished undefeated, and won their tournament. My u10 team finished in 2nd place, and 2nd in tournament.

I then put together 2 team's for a 3v3 tournament. My oldest team u11 only won a game, but since they were co-ed were ranked #1 in the state which was funny as he'll. My other team was a u8 team that they moved to u10 to compete, and they savagely beat down every team they played. I had parents from our local academy getting mad at me and my team, cause they were brutal. I laughed and said not on of these kids is over 8, your kids are all 10. Maybe you need better coaching. U8 team scored 42 goals in 5 games and only gave up 8. Team was a monster
