If he hadn't pitched maybe but I'd strongly doubt you're going to throw a starter coming back from an arm injury on short rest

Definitely not game 5, because the Cubs win in 4.

Just curious cause Garcia was shaky to say the least and with the error, and Lynn was really bad. I think they said Lynn was originally scheduled for game 4.

After last nights debacle, this was a HUGE win. Now we go home Monday and get the Snake on the mound.

I was hoping KB would be off tonight, because he is awful right now. Maybe going back to Wrigley will help him snap out of it. Rizzo needs to as well.

Hendricks was really solid other than the 1st and the end of the 5th.

He gave up 3 HR on 5 hits... but other than the back-to-back to Wong/Grichuck in the 5th he was actually really good, lots of timely strike outs.

Jorge Soler was a STUD.

My mistake. I think I confused him and Martinez who had something with his arm IIRC. Either way, you're kind of pushing it pitching a guy that much coming back from an injury and when the guy is making like $20 mil per year why risk it?
