I never saw that photo before - thanks for posting it. Wow - can't believe he did that - and even more importantly why he wasn't confronted and made to change it. How disrespectful. I remember 2 years ago when Savvy was coaching the Hawks and they were in Montreal playing the Habs and the Habs had a pregame ceremony honoring the '93 Cup champions. Savvy did the right thing and donned his Montreal jersey for the ceremony and photos - that was respectful and the right thing to do. He would never have worn a Blackhawks jersey for the photo. What was Cheli thinking?

Yea but picking a team and cheering a team is different.



Tonight I pick the wings to win. If I was betting money I'm putting money on the wings. I want the hawks to win.



JR just felt those teams were better. Also I kinda like JR's mouth. I remember when he called one of the USA games for the last World Cup of Hockey it was great he was such a homer and didn't at all try to hide it.

But his policy was not to tear up contracts, which was possible at the time, and Fuckstain still had a year to go on his FIVE-PLUS MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT.



Chelios turned on his team and worked out a trade with a team he said he'd NEVER play for.



The Hockey Hall of Fame should bend their rules and let him in immediately, as he is one of the top 10 defensemen ever to play.



His number should retired somewhere and he should be showered with accolades.

I think we're going to lose.



I think one or more of our second-tier guys--Bickell, Brouwer, Dowell, Pisani, etc. will get a tally or two. Toews will be busting his hump to creat offense and his linemates won't try to bury it because they're looking for the perfect opportunity. Keith will keep coughing up the puck, Seabrook will cough it up as well. Skille will get burned trying to dangle between 2 wings at the blueline rather than clearing it, Sharp and Kopecky will end up out of position leaving someone open in the slot to put it past Crawford--who will play lights out but get beaten on goals he has no chance of stopping.



Anything I forgot? Oh yeah. We'll come into the 3rd with the lead, and within the dying minutes everyone forgets hockey 101 and we'll eng up choking.
