Craig Button on NHL ON THE FLY called Dagostini's hit borederline dirty and was surprised a penalty wasn't atleast called for boarding.

Maybe he should text the dumbass zebras and alert them of that.

It wasn't even borderline if you ask me and the ass clwon zebs screwed up.

Tell me this, Stu....and anyone else for that matter....Scott is in the lineup, and WE STILL get the shit kicked out of us (see Toews as an example). Why in the heck is Scott there at all? He can't skate, he can't shoot, and our stars still get the crap beat out of them. He's absolutely useless. If you're gonna make other teams pay for taking runs are our starts, THEN DO IT DAMMIT!!!!!

While not a huge Scott fan he has done nothing to hurt the team. As long as he's on the 4th line I have no problem with him. He had a pretty decent game last night considering most of the rest of the team sucked ass.

If you are going to ***** about a 4th line player, we have a lot more problems.

Also everyone is forgetting something here. St. Louis has lost 4 HOME GAMES in their last 23. It's not an easy place to play for ANY team.

He drew a penalty and almost scored a goal playing 4th line for the league minimum. He also effectively got the HACK Janssen off the ice for almost 1/6th of the whole game. When Janssen is in the box he's not out running around trying to hit the stars.

RK, I understand it's a tough place to play and the Blues have been hot there but I can't make any excuses for the effort last night.

The Hawks got outhustled, outworked, outhit and outplayed. They were dominated. No excuse for that. None.

Losses will happen but the lack of effort is not acceptable.

Sure. I did not say they played well. But at the same time give the Blues some credit. That is the effort they gave against the Hawks in game #1 they played at the UC this year. Sharp won the game in OT, in a game we really had no reason in winning.

It's going to happen to every team in the NHL, even ours.

Someone should have atoned for the CHEAP HIT ON OUR CAPTAIN. Instead no one did a fucking thing.

D'Agostini was off the ice during Scott's shift right after... but Dowell was out there on the next D'Agostini shift I believe.

We easily could have gotten beaten 7-1 last night, we had alot of luck and Turco was standing on his head and the guys couldn't even make a game of it after they went down.

Once we were down a goal without another softie on Conklin, we werent going to score.

It's the lack of effort, or the way they lost, that sucks imo.

And that's EXACTLY my point, Ron. If anyone was gonna make someone pay, it should be Scott.....and he did NOTHING....

I don't give a crap if he wasn't on the ice when D-whatever-his-name was. Next time he goes out there, he MUST level one of THEIR stars....

Asides the 5 minute PIM, Scott showed up on the ice. He was getting into the offense, and actually created a scoring chance or two.

Yes, he actually played a decent game last night. Maybe some of the guys could take a page from Scott's book last night.

If he took a 10 and gets kicked, the Blues have 4 other fringe players that fill the chippy role. Who steps in after Scott receives the boot?

Scott isn't fast enough to be able to lay D'Agostini out. Not only that but there is no way D'Agostini would have fought him. All that would have happened was Scott getting an instigator penalty and put the Hawks shorthanded AGAIN in a close game at the time... is that smart? Nope. Dowell should have gone after D'Agostini and made him answer the bell. If Scott was on the ice when Toews got hit, then you have an argument.

If this is the manner of play that the game dissolves to, then I have to agree.

Well, in the 3rd period Brouwer checked D'Agostini into the boards and finished the check with an elbow to the head and was called for elbowing. Was this his attempt at retaliation? Look at Toewes leaving the ice, ouch.My link Also someone please tell Payne to shave that thing on top of his head.

Like I said in chat, hit their top player all night. Not dirty, just clean and hard. Make him pay in pain. It did bother me that the hawks did jack shit about it too.

I disagree. Scott played fine last night. Again if you are going to ***** about a 4th liner we have bigger problems.

I thought Scott and Turco were the 2 best Hawks last night....and I say Scott with a straight face.

For whatever reason...the team didn't show up...even before Toews injury. Hossa was completely invisible.

This is a game where I really don't understand Bickell's game. At 6'4 225lbs, I don't recall one single hit last night. There were times he went in the corner for the puck in the offensive zone, and he just throws the puck away, instead of using his frame to shield the puck, and make a play. His physical game - or lack their of - is disappointing to me. He plays like he's Sharp's size..not wanting to hit/or get hit.

This team is in serious trouble if Toews is out for an extended period of time. Bolland, as the teams number one center....ouch.

Stu, Scott was a piece of crap just like everyone else on the team last night. That fight was useless as was Scott and the whole roster ('cept Turks). Team reverted back to it's old self last night....no backchecking, no speed, lost all the board battles, dumb passes....blah blah....

Your so called piece of crap had 4 SOG and 4 hits in 7 TOI. That would be more than Hossa, Kane, Brouwer and Bolland combined. When John Scott is the most noticible forward there's a big fucking problem.

This is the most disturbing part of the entire evening, it was disgusing to watch. I guess Bickell can't be bothered to hurt his silky hands.

Team needs a fucking heart transplant.

Bickell, Brouwer, Dowell, Cullimore, Boynton, Seabrook (even Skille or Bolland) are names that come to mind that should have plastered Dagostini or another of their players. you can't let that crap go.

That was a cheap, dirty hit by dagostini. Toews no longer had the puck. Why the NHL official did not call anything on another of the NHL Star players if a fucking mystery. Colin Campbell should be fired and both officials last night reprimanded.

There was another hit later in the game on Keith, clearly boarding, again no fucking call. He retaliated shortly after and he got a penalty.
