2010-2011 Blackhawk Rumors/Transactions

Sorry to tell you that Beach's lack of callup has zero to do with the Cap.

Well while he may not be playing well he could not play on the big club either way due to his Cap Hit unless they made room for him some how. So in a sense his cap hit precludes him from playing in Chicago.

Is centerman for Hossa next year to be found anywhere on Hogs or is it an FA signing/trade in summer? Seems Hoss's true production is limited by this. Got a peek at Sharp-Toews-Hossa line in a recent game. Looked pretty cool but was only an end of period roll out. Man do we need a 2nd line offensive-minded center. Seems Bolland better suited for rat duty on 3rd line.

Beach is 21, cap casualty or not, he's hardly a bust after only 1 full year in the AHL. Bit early to give up on his development.

I don't think anyone is giving up on him, just not ready to come up, cap or not.

I am really enjoying the play of Mathis Olimb. Damn does he remind a ton of Steeger when he was here. Hands, speed, hell he even is a sweater tucker. One glaring difference between them is Olimb is NOT a puck hog.

Personally, I've been hoping that Chicago picks up Chris Neil from Ottawa. A solid third line banger who will chip the puck in when needed. Lets be real, we need the grit.

I'm still hoping for some sandpaper, but I'm guessing that's all.

Only leaves aboot 90K in cap space. Max cap room 400K according to capgeek. Unless a roster player moves don't see them getting another center.

Opinions on how Campoli would fit in? I haven't seen much, if any of him.

I think that Neil's cap hit would be 450k for the remainder of the season. Guess we aren't getting him. Rex = not Impressed

We only get the conditional 7th if they resign Potulney.
