That trade with the Panthers is now a wash..Frolik is just garbage.

I thought he'd produce with better talent around him but nope..SOS.

Good thing Stan handed him 2.3 mil when he could've kept Brouwer for the same price & who is also alot better player.

Not even close. There is so much more than points, you are a fucking moron.

Frolik is far better than Skille. Both offensively and DEFENSIVELY.

Then the Blackhawks got easily the best prospect in the deal, Salak for two guys that aren't going to ever be in the show.

You have no fucking idea what you are saying.

Seriously? That's one of the best trades that has happened in the past few years for the Hawks. Dump Skille who basically sucked and get Frolik who is actually good and way better than you make him seem. Oh, and did I mention that they got a great goalie prospect?

TramyersCSN: Just a maintenance day for Bolland and Seabrook. Both in tomorrow vs. PHX. Crawford starting vs. Coyotes. #Blackhawks

Corey Crawford
kicked away 26 shots in the Chicago Blackhawks' 2-1 win versus the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. Crawford wasn't overly tested, but did make 10 saves in the final frame when his team struggled to create chances on the other end. This was a nice performance after giving up five goals in his win against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday, but the netminder has still been a bit up and down this season. He now has 11 wins and a .902 save percentage and 2.77 goals-against average, so it'd be encouraging to see this as the start of some consistency for the 26-year-old. (Source: Rotoworld.com)

Jonathan Toews
has become one of the most valuable fantasy players in the NHL. He is excelling in all aspects of the game. Towes is tied for fourth in the NHL in goal scoring with 12 goals, and is seventh in points with 24. He leads the NHL in faceoff percentage with a 61.8 win rate and has a fine plus nine plus/minus rating. Toews is also tied for third in game-winning goals. He is certainly doing it all for the Hawks this season. (Source: Chicago Tribune)

Daniel Carcillo
was a healthy scratch Saturday night against the Kings. It was the first time this season that Carcillo sat in the press box. Hawks' coach Joel Quenneville has not been happy with Carcillo's play of late and wanted to give John Scott a chance to dress as a forward. "I thought (Carcillo) had a great start," Quenneville said. "He hasn't been at that same pace. I still think he's going to be an important part of our team." That said, we hope this isn't the beginning of a repeat of his experience in Philadelphia where he sat out more times than he played. (Source: Chicago Tribune)

May be a bit off-topic, but a question about a former Hawk. Where is Adam Burish playing and how is he doing this year? He wasn't the most productive, but I always liked him.

So in Toews 3rd in the NHL now after scoring his 13th against LA? It said 12 and tied for 4th on the article Icehog posted.

Frolik has a whopping two more points than Skille this season.

He (along with Krug) is also making under a mil is basically neck & neck with a guy making 2.3 mil.

Not advocating for Skille to come back. Just pointing out how pathetic Frolik has been.

^^^ Yet he has been one of the Blackhawks better forwards defensively which, believe it or not, matters a whole lot. Kruger is seeing time on the PP while Frolik does not.

Frolik blows Skille away defensively and is still better offensively. Also, Kruger is on his ELC - which is why he makes less than just about most in the league - but you already knew that.

Yet Frolik has 2 more goals. That means they have the same amount of assists. Frolik > Skille

Plus, as HawkWriter said, Frolik is much better defensively.

Why do you guys give Frolik such a hard time? He's still a young guy with alot to learn. Skille literally did nothing for us, sometimes a change of scenery is better for these players.

I don't get it either. He's a young guy with a lot of upside that was stuck on a bad team for awhile. He'll get better and is already showing signs of that. He proved to be much better than Skille would have been in the playoffs last year.
