Why do you guys give Frolik such a hard time? He's still a young guy with alot to learn. Skille literally did nothing for us, sometimes a change of scenery is better for these players.

Well in the cawk world if your not a point a game player, you pretty much suck

Frolik's offensive game frustrates me.

No where near as bad as Skille's though. The way he'd plow right into the goalie instead of taking a shot irritated the living hell out of me.

Yep. Hated Crash. Glad he's gone. He worked hard and everything, but Florida can have him.

lol im so glad you are a Special person that sits behind his computer instead of sitting behind a desk in the hawks front office. you dont know shit kid.
I thank god everynight that Joe isn't in the Hawks front office..lol
Not even close. There is so much more than points, you are a fucking moron.

Frolik is far better than Skille. Both offensively and DEFENSIVELY.

Then the Blackhawks got easily the best prospect in the deal, Salak for two guys that aren't going to ever be in the show.

You have no fucking idea what you are saying.
:yep:
^^^ Yet he has been one of the Blackhawks better forwards defensively which, believe it or not, matters a whole lot. Kruger is seeing time on the PP while Frolik does not.

Frolik blows Skille away defensively and is still better offensively. Also, Kruger is on his ELC - which is why he makes less than just about most in the league - but you already knew that.

Dude...no points=no talent

Huet will never be a good NHL goalie. He had some good games, but can't be a good starter. Maybe a good backup...

Did you watch him from 2005 - 2008? He was a very solid goaltender. The 13 games he played for Washington (after being traded) basically got them into the playoffs and were incredible.

I have no idea what happened to him when the Blackhawks signed him but he just couldn't hack it - that I will agree with and I'm fine with him being over in Europe (especially with the contract he signed). Also, last year in the same league, he put up a .894 save pct which is absolutely brutal.

Sharp prepares for fatherhood

Patrick Sharp could miss a game this week as his wife is expecting a baby.

Sharp's wife Abby is due this week. Just something to keep in mind when setting your roster. We wish the Sharps the very best on the impending birth of their daughter.

Congrats to him & his wife.

I always thought Khabi was better than him and then Niemi was better.

Khabi was pretty bad in his first three years with the Blackhawks - some of that did have to do with the team though. The second Huet showed up, Khabi starting playing well and definitely earned himself to be the go to goalie with his play that year.

As for Niemi, he came in, stole the show, and then earned himself the majority of the starts and obviously the playoff starts.

It all worked out in the end though, but it just amazes me how Huet played so well for 3 - 4 years and then came to the Blackhawks and just faltered.

Honestly, with this team especially, you can't look at points and tell whether or not that person fufilled their role on the team.

A guy like Frolik, though he's not potting goals, is still doing a good job getting to the net and creating oppertunities.
