Richards looked pretty good. Sweet touch pass to Kane for the goal and almost hit Hoss with one too. Hossa looked like he's in mid-season form.</p>

Darling should change his name to "Spawn of BeastMaster".  it has a better ring to it (think about that one). </p>

Hoss looked a little out of sync early, but hit his stride with a vengence later on.  I liked Darling's poise, and Morin and Dahlbeck looked awesome.  All in all the game was about what I expected for this period of the preseason.  I was surprised that they mentioned that special teams wasn't worked on yet.  Get cracking Q!</p>

Also props to Danault for skating with what amounted to two Handzuses - Bass and Mashinter. I think he and Hartman are goint to be monsters in Rockford this year.</p>

Been hearing quite a bit about Leddy being inquired about and the only way the Hawks will budge is if Versteeg is included.


I'm not a fan of trading Leddy, especially since he hasn't even scratched the surface on his potential, but this will happen when you screw yourself with the cap.
