I think it would be funny to see Foley announce games with Danault and Dano in the lineup.

It might be funny the first time, but by game 5 of the regular season him and Eddie have killed it by saying it 5,936 times.

Too many people are sold on Baun. I think Dandault or McNeill have a better shot then him.

Baun played a couple games at the end of the regular season, so people saw him play. I havn't had a chance to see Danault or McNeil play, have they been up?

Pencil in whichever Icehog you want at the 4th line RW spot, it's still essentially the same cap hit. Baun, Danault, McNeil, or Hartman...one of them is going to win out.

Update: Looks like the Tikhonov deal is definitely going to happen, so there's another 3/4 W for competition.

Danault had 3 games up at 3rd line Center when there was some injuries in like January or something. He's a grindy bottom center trying to groom that role and McNeil has never gotten called up, they say consistency is his issue but he was having a great season minus 1 injury moment this year and looked to form as a winger playing a full game. But neither are as big or not as possibly fitting.

Vladimir Tikinov a teammate from the KHL from Panarin, who was under the rights to the Coyotes until today is having reported to have signed a 1 year deal. They talked about wanting to play for the same NHL team around late winter in interviews. He's a guy who might take a roster spot from Baun/McNeil/Daunult though too as he is a defensively strong winger/center with decent build.

The fact that McNeill didn't get a call up or even make the Black Aces pretty much tells you where he stands.

Tikhinov and Panarin will be good together in Rockford

Viktor Tikhonov signs a 1-year, $1.04 million contract in Chicago, per Elliotte Friedman on Twitter.

Again, Panarin will not go to Rockford as he has a clause in his contract that says if he doesn't make the NHL team his contract gets voided. I wouldn't be surprised if Tikhinov has that as well.

We got Tikhinov!!!! Holy **** yes...we got the Tikhinov-Panarin line. hahahahahahahahaha. **** you NHL.

**** you Mike Reilly!!! hahahahahahaahhaah

God we are a lucky franchise right now. Shit hits the fan in salary. We lose Hayes, Frolic, Ladd, Buff, Leddy to salary and the beat goes on. These two Russians could really ease us financially if they work out for 2 years.

Centers- Toews-Asinomov-Kruger-Tikhinov-Dano-Teuvo-

Is how I would rank them for now. Thats perfect because the two young guys at the back end you don't want to rely on but they might both be 2C's eventually.

You really love to just jump on everyone's bandwagon before we know anything about them?

We need to sign Kruger first... and I'd put him ahead of Tikhonov by a couple hundred miles because he's not a center.

I think its a bit presumptuous to assume him in any top 6 role with him never playing a consistant game in North America

Radulov (former Pred) who had 102pts in 154 NHL games...goes to the KHL and tore it up with 71pts in 46gms (173pts in the last 3yrs/128gms)

Panarin has 102pts in the last 2yrs/105gms. Thats not bad for over there....but being undersized, no NA experience and isn't as dominant as Radulov was...who was a decent NHL player but dominant over there.

Tikhonov has been playing C for the past several years in the KHL, I believe. He can play either position.

It's a bit unknown with him and he has a lot to prove rather than handing him the keys to a top LW position on the best team in the NHL.

I just don't see it happening. We'll see what these guys look like in training camp when they are with the team. I'm not holding my breath.

I'd rather see Danault or Hartman get a chance.
