I have doubts that Tikhonov or Panarin can be any more effective than a Nordstrom type player. Tikhonov played for the Yotes in 08 for 60 games and did little, his and Panarin's body of work in Russia may or may not translate to solid NHL players any more than the Rockford players have hopes of making the team as 3rd or 4th liners.

Enthusiasm for guys who haven't played in the NHL should certainly be tempered, but then again, the size of the rink and style of play has nothing to do with how good this guy's hands and feet are.

I ain't seen Nordstrom do some of these things., in other words.

He even scored while being tripped, so he won't cost us a Stanley Cup like Hossa did.

Ya, ok he scored against Russian players, how many of those teams/players are on the same level as the type of talent he'll be playing against in the NHL ? Who knows how he will do, but pencilling him in as a top line player is a reach. I'm not saying he'll be a bust, but until he's in Chicago and proves something in camp he's just unproven hype.

Maybe not effect his hands and feet, but it will definitely effect his brain. The question is, can these guys make plays with less time to make plays?

We will see.

actually, both of his line mates on the second line had played in the NHL. Both are first round pick NHL quality players.
