RIP NBA if this happens

better trio than Bron-Wade-Bosh IMO...defensively Miami's is better but the offense would be so potent with Curry-Klay-KD...i don't seen how anybody could contain them

Plus Draymond... Bro.......

The bulls better clear cap space to make a run.

They won't. They need to use whatever space they have to resign Noah and gear up to extend Rose again after his current deal is up :dunno:

Technically he didn't commit to anything, as it is against the rules. Players and teams can only talk the frame work of deals so he's not obligated to sign with them.

If I was him, I wouldn't leave the Clips. The Mavs have no PG that can make him a useful offensive weapon. Without CP3, his offensive game is non existent. Plus he'd be leaving $30 million on the table.

yeah technically he can back out but its going back on his word which isn't looked at very fondly

i wouldn't leave LA either...i mean its LA for one and Mavs are not really offering that good of a situation

Eh I doubt people are going to rake him over hot coals for having second thoughts and changing his mind, except for maybe Mavs fans. It's happened before in free agency but we just here about it more now because of social media. Speaking of which, while every player has been tweeting up a storm about the teams they are joining, Jordan has been eerily silent the entire time.

Gerald Green for the min? I suppose I am just a little bit disappointed we couldn't jump in on that boat...I get why they didn't though.

Wow. They saved face.

How so? By taking the rotting corpse of D-Will off the Nets hands so the Nets have nearly $40 million in cap space next summer? I mean I guess it helps because he's a Dallas native but he's nothing like the player he was.

This is the ultimate desperation move by the Mavs and what is the point really? Even with D Will, they still may not make the playoffs in the super competitive West. Their future went out the window when DJ reneged on his promise, not that it was really that bright with Jordan, who's totally overrated imho.

D-Will hasn't been the same since he joined the Nets, especially over the last two seasons. But getting him for 5 million a season is pretty damn good.

Amare Stoudemire to the Heat. That could be a sneaky good move for them.

i don't blame the clippers they did what they had to do to keep their player...i do think its messed up what DJ did though...he shoulda sat down and really thought about if it was the move he wanted to make before committing

lets hope this doesn't lead to players running game against rival teams by committing and have that team operate under the impression they're signing then pull the rug out from under them last minute
