True story - the Bears Kyle Long played baseball at FSU. It's a lot easier to cross back over to football than it is to cross over to baseball.

Oh, I dont think Tebow will be anything. Im just not sure on the outrage. I mean its no different than Jordan or other players using their names to get a shot 99% would not get. He was signed for a reason. No one makes a one sided deal.

He was signed for the publicity. He's taking the roster spot of a filler.

So this story about the near miss of a Puig for Braun deal at the waiver deadline has been getting some more press lately with some saying the deal will almost certainly happen after the season. I was arguing with some folks elsewhere who thought Milwaukee would be stupid to make that trade, frankly I think it would be real good risk for them to take. Puig is 25 years old and immensely talented I think anybody that thinks he doesn't have a shot to turn it around with a new team is crazy. Oh, and he's has a .970 OPS with LA since returning from the minors and has really good shot at making their playoff roster. Whatever happened there is clearly something no one get past but I think you write off Puig at your own risk.

I never cared for Puig approach at the plate. His talent is there but the mind is a funny thing. He went to the penthouse and maybe knocking him down will focus him because I read he is quite the dick head

The Giants are 10 games over .500 with 18 left to play, and are losing today. Odds are pretty good that the best team in baseball at the break will finish below .500 for the year. What an epic, epic collapse.

Psychos rarely change, they only find new validation for their behavior. He will always be a problem because he already has more money than he needs. He obviously cares nothing for the team nor the game. If he cant get motivated to play for a playoff bound team how demotivated will he be in Milwaukee. I wouldnt touch this clown

He's playing his off for LA right now with a .970 OPS since his return. Sometimes a change of scenery helps, of course sometimes it doesn't. I'd take a chance on a 25 year old with that much talent if I were a team like the Brewers.

Again, he is a psycho with a history of bad behavior playing for a great franchise. Going to Milwaukee wont excite him

Milton Bradley pissed off teammates everywhere he went, Puig has pissed off a bunch of "play the right way" Dodgers. He may be an ass but if I'm the Brewers I take that risk. Hell can there be a bigger ass than Ryan Braun?

Don't look now but Seattle is on fire going 9-1 in their last 10. They're 1.5 games out of the AL WC. The Yankees are inexplicably 2 still only 2 back and both Detroit and Toronto who are ahead of them are scuffling badly.

Yankees suck. They won't make it.

Of SF, St Louis and the Mets - I'd still prefer to face the Cards. Yes, Madison wouldn't be available for Game 1 of the NLDS, but we'd still see Cueto. Cueto goes hot/cold but he has the ability to shut anyone down. Baumgarten would be available for Game 3, right?

Toronto really is struggling. I'd love to see Seattle make it. Screw the Yankees. They can rot in Hell for eternity for all I care.
