REPORTS: Twins to Hire Indians’ AGM Derek Falvey As President of Baseball Ops
Looks like Jason McLeod is safe for a bit longer.

The Giants simply refuse to let the Cards out of the playoffs.
I had no clue that Dick Enberg did Padres games.
Rick will be great as he was with the Cubs. His issue is he has no development to help him out outside of Hahn and Hahn clears stuff thru Williams and Reinsdorf.
Me neither.Well, that's a different can of worms. I'm just saying I think this guy could be a very good manager, much better than Ventura who is known to be a great guy but not so great at managing. If I were the Sox though I would trade Sale or Quintana to get a couple of young stars and maybe go out an get a Hellickson or someone like that that to eat innings. That's still a decent staff and now with some young bucks. I'm not sure what they're actually going to do though.
Me neither.
They could trade Sale if someone wants to truly be honest and pay a reasonable price as no one is going to pay what he's really worth.

It's not a stretch, he didn't have the horses with him. Is he Joe Maddon? Probably not. Would he have won the Central this year? I think he would have won the NL Central this year. He's an upgrade over Ventura. Calling him "great" is a stretch. He was decent with us. He's definitely an upgrade and would be a good fit if they decide to rebuild -- which they should.
Truthfully I'd probably trade Quintana instead because you could assign value better but he should net you 2 top prospects in or very near the majors and a couple of more not quite as close. I'd say the most likely teams to deal with, whether it's Sale or Quintana, are Houston, LA, Boston and maybe Texas. All have the kind of guys you'd want.
