And yet his BB% was essential identical between his road & away splits from 2016-2017. You are arguing something that is not supported at all by the data. If he was really more wild, why didn't it manifest itself in a higher walk rate?

His walk rate was 3.5-4 which is still bad. 3/4 arm slot has more left to right movement. Over the top your movement is more high and low. Over the top works better with a 12-6 curve. 3/4 better with a slider.

Curve ball pitchers just fail in Denver. This is nothing new so he had to adapt or never progress.

So right now he has no control over his 4 seam. In season you can not make a major overhaul. A minor adjustment like moving to 1 side of the rubber is a minor adjust. Changing arm a lot is a major and requires redeveloping muscle memory and potential injury. Not to be taken lite.

My belief is his fastball is too active and needs to move less. That is a arm slot issue.

Cubs supposedly in on Harvey and so are tbe Brewers..
Guessing Cubs just looking to drive the price up, though as i mentioned before, if they add another starter it for 2 reasons..
1. Darvish not returning anytime soon

2. They want Montgomery back in the bullpen now

I was alluding to the fact that Happ or Bote could be on the move.
Got it
My bad

If those guys get moved, i hope it an impact move and not just a minor upgrade over Monty or just a regular bullpen arm

Wondering who got pushed. Kintzler is a good pick up. Can close and works as a set up. Very nice move in general.

But we will see who the Nat’s target.

10 mil team option. His number going is are solid. He has the feel of stability and of course you trigger it.

So he should cost something decent. I personally would trade Underwood and Maples. They really are going nowhere here and seems Nats are wholesale mode.

I think he is gone regardless. I just don’t see teams covering trash. He is a waver case IMO
