LOL.....it's like this FO is racing with GarPax to see who can reach the bottom first.

The fact Gus has not been moved yet it just beyond pathetic. How hard is it to fire out an email and get offers back in and take the best available.

Also. If he seriously makes no moves that has to be the final straw. Can only imagine other GM's tired of his shit and freezing him out.

His last straw is back to back to back no playoffs. As GM you don't make a move just to make a move if the offers are weak sauce and one sided.

You have to get something for Gus. It is a strong draft, I don't care if it's a 2nd and your 4th or a 3rd or a 4th. You left the guy at home so you have to move him.

I'd try and move Keith to Vancouver if he is willing to waive his NMC and Saad is now the top power forward available with Kreider being resigned.

After that you have to call up Seabrook and make the best deadline deal you can "hey Brent we need you to retire to LTIR and we will give you a nice scouting job on top of it."

At the end of the day this team is in the worst possible spot to be in....mediocre and a high payroll. So you can't improve in the draft or FA.

No one is going to take the old aging core at the cap hit. Teams that mismanage the cap suffer. Canadiens, Sharks, Blackhawks, Ducks, Kings etc. The standings have flip flopped from back in the day. The Ducks, Canadiens, Sharks and Kings were dominating the standings during the Hawks glory years. But those core guys all got paid long term deals and are out of their prime now so the teams are suffering for it.

Parise by all accounts is being traded. You can always move players. Kane is moveable. Keith is moveable. Saad is moveable. All 3 would net a good return. Toews is moveable and Seabrook is moveable to the LTIR.
The big issue is do you trust this GM to maximize return if you decide to move any of those guys. I don't.

LOL Toews has no value bruh. Only chance Toews gets moved is by taking on a bad contract player in return.

No one is taking shit contracts off our team

1. dealing with no movement clauses with most of them
2. We would be dealing future top draft picks to take them off our hands or
3. Of all they want to do his hit salary cap floor like Arizona done for years still have to deal with issues with 1

bowman the lesser got too happy with this core and this is the end result. We had some good times but truth is team was going down hill once age caught up to hossa and shit spiraled from there by nonsense moves by bowman

I came to this thread though to see if we made any moves and not surprised to be disappointed lol

Brian Campbell, anyone? Just saying, it is indeed possible.

But yeah, you're not moving the guys with NMC's. Keith has already stated he wants to stay. Toews and Kane have lived in this city for damn here half of their lifetimes and will probably not want to uproot.

Guss, Lehner, Saad, Murphy, Strome -- these are the guys Bowman should move, but he won't, because he's a terrible GM who either makes garbage deals or no deals at all.
