Okay but I just think offensive d-man is the least of your problems right now.
I feel like it's easier though to find defensive defenseman so maybe that's just it

Why would you pick an offensive d-man when you bone thin on defensive D-men and you just traded your only real center prospect in Kirby Dach? And you have Seth Jones locked up for an eternity?

Well, I liked the Debrincat trade at first. Now I don't so much.

And I don't like the Dach trade.
Just took a look at Ottawas prospect pool, Davidson got hosed, they didnt need the #7 pick and our GM should of zeroed in on that and asked for more in the trade, they have some studs in Ottawa.

Yeah I hear you. Reading on that center kasper that the wings picked up and was like damn that was a good pick. But at same time we are talking 18 year olds and this process will be taking years. That center might be a next year thing. We also have a shit load of picks still in this draft

I know, right?! I mean him and Geekie were available, and you go with this guy, who's been scouted as being weak defensively.

You're right, you have to look at these moves in totality. Maybe they go center heavy next draft.

Come on man, let’s be real here, another small player who can get knocked around, Hawks could have had Geeekie at 7 and Korchinsky at 13, same old shit, you would think Blowman is still here.

Yes, I didn't realize he was so small. I'd still pissed off they didn't pick Geekie at 7.

I was hoping for Geekie, the kid is a beast with great Intangibles. exactly what the Hawks need, not an offensive defencemen and another midget.

and after all these years fans have been saying trade Kane, get picks, yeah they would **** that up as well.
I must admit I'm not super enthused with either of these picks. I liked what Davidson's done up to this point, but I worry about these moves. Maybe they work out, I hope so.
