Waaaay too early takeaways.
Matas has some solid Ball IQ period, rookie or not. SL isn't the best way to judge, and neither is preseason, but the tools are there.
Giddey looks like he's late a lot. But he has such sound fundamentals, he covers up his blunders. Chalk it up as chemistry issues in the waaaaay too early column.
Jalen Smith looks like a seriously under-rated signing.
It's gonna be shit as usual. I only care that it's watchable. New guys are O K so far. We shall see.

Fine fine fine, OR he will be traded to another team and go on to be an All Star while the player/pick he was traded for fumbles around before being sent to another team and becoming an eventual All Star and NBA championship.
