He didn't call you an asshole. What you need to realize is...it's ok if those guys think that.

It's ok Broc.

Uh no shit it's ok. They're free to hold whatever Special person opinions they please, just as I'm free to mock those opinions. Attempts at civil discourse have repeatedly proven to be futile and ultimately pointless efforts so all one can really do is just laugh and mock the absurdity of the never ending circus... sadly it seems my use of mocking hyperbole causes a severe tightness in their panties. It's really quite unfortunate.

Yup, I'm the asshole here because I don't buy into the rhetoric that 3 successes out of 230 is something to brag about and base your 2014 draft theories on. Silly me. All this time I thought drafting QB's was hard. Thank heavens Mick created this thread to prove how simple it is.

Lol, i'm not calling you an asshole or pinning any blame on you. All I'm saying is that for the most part, this thread seems to be running in circles. There is no new discourse.

Good. Now you just need to realize that 90%+ of what those guys post that is directed at you, is designed to specifically get a rise out of you. And you deliver every time.

I think you know this, you just can't help yourself. You remind me of this guy:

LOL I find it hilarious how you continue to cry about hyperbole yet do the same exact thing every time you discuss Cutler. It's as if you're blind to your own behavior. You're like a guy who tells others their smoking is bothering you as you sit there puffing on your own cigar. Seriously go **** yourself lol.

Every single time Cutler's discussed on here we all get treated to the usual negative hyperbole from you

What hyperbole from me? Because I use the same standards to judge my own team's players as I do other teams is not hyperbole, it's objectivity, and if you look by my avatar you'll see that I'm the captain of it.

Kaep played most of the year with most of his receiving weapons in street clothes, yet still finished with a better passer rating than Cutler ever has in his eight year career and is still playing in the conference title game. Again.

The lack of receivers was a fair excuse for three of Cutler's eight seasons, but even when he's got top talent around him he's still average. That isn't hyperbole, it's fact. Sorry that you're unable to come to terms with it.

But the part he's having problems with is your belief that we can just go get the next Kaep in this years draft if only we wanted, while pointing to Kaep, Wilson and Brady as evidence to support your position.

I don't know if we could or not. I know for sure if we don't try, we definitely can't.

LOL do you really think I don't realize that? The fact that you think they're "getting a rise" out of me is even more hilarious. I choose to respond because it's provides cheap laughs during an otherwise boring work day to troll them right back with equally exaggerated mocking hyperbole. If they were actually interested in having a honest and civil debate I'd have no problems responding in kind. But the aren't. They're just here to be obnoxious douchebags and circle jerk the same dead horse agenda day after day so what's the point?

I'm not looking for the next Kaep or Wilson. I just want better production than what we currently have from our starter. If we need to sit through another year of cutler I'm fine with that.

But can't we retain Cutler AND look for the next franchise guy? Those things aren't mutually exclusive. It's what NE did with Brady, the 9ers did with Kaep and the Seahawks did with Wilson. Which brings us back to my first post in this thread.

Again, I agree the Bears should try. Apparently the 1 man "vocal minority" of desperado is the only person who thinks the Bears shouldn't be drafting a QB. I just find it laughable that you guys feel like you need to continually beat this "draft a QB" drum against this 1 man "vocal minority".. it's like you guys feel you need to convince everyone to agree with you even though everyone but 1 guy already agrees with you... it's fucking insane lol.

As far as them getting a rise out of you or not, they do. You get upset every time, or at least, it seems like you do. Text makes it hard to decipher emotion.

Broc makes bearmick look bad. It's what he does. I am not seeing the problem here.

Where's your beef?

Ok, your point has been made...now why don't you give the board a topic to discuss. I agree this subject is an endless merry-go-round, but it has genreated 300+ posts in this thread alone. So I would guess posters are at the very least not tired of this subject. If you are so sick of this topic, then give the masses a new topic to discuss and stop bitching about the same old discussion that happens here.

LOL! I literally sit in my office laughing my ass off every day while bullshitting on here. It's not my fault you guys choose to read my responses in a tone they were not typed in. I know it's difficult to decipher emotion over a text based medium but I'm not going to color code everything I type so the plebs and their 3rd grade reading comprehension levels can distinguish a joking tone.

Oh **** off. Bearmick and Spartan literally spend their entire sorry lives beating this topic to death.
