Yeah all Iginla has going for him is experience. And the way people talk about the Hawks, we really don't need that, we have players who have proved themselves right? That they just have to show up when it matters most. Whereas the same kind of people should, going by their (flawed) logic, say that Iginla hasn't proven himself because he hasn't won a Cup. So, it can't be both ways. Regardless of that, Iginla's not scoring 50 goals anymore, it doesn't matter that he did in the past. He's not that player anymore.
I also think it's pretty funny we have Hawks fans complaining about a player making a COMMENT. A (singular) comment about his situation with him and his team shopping him around and how he feels about it and we're judging him completely on that one comment alone and how we wouldn't take him at all because of that and that shows how immature he is and how much growing up he has to do and blah, blah,blah......when we've had a ringside seat to Patrick Kane Show for the past several years. Come on guys.
