[A] Blackhawks Among Top Candidates For Zach Parise

I agree with what you are saying.

I feel that Q might have been looking over his shoulder and thinking that Havvy was waiting in the wings to replace him should he slip up. If the Hawks make that move now, they have to go out and find someone to take over the reins and then pay three coaches, 2 of which aren't working....

Or, they could had the reins over to Kitchen.

I think that's pretty close to what it was. Haviland was Stans guy IMO. The power struggle was between Stan and Q and how the team was being coached, IE where Smith pops in from Daddy Stan.

Mess to say the least. And to give Q some defense I have NEVER seen a coach, who wasn't a coach, thrown into the mix 3/4 of the way into the season. Supposedly there was a pretty big outburst between them at a practice and Smith mysteriously dissappeared from both practice and the road playoff games.

Haviland was brought in from Rockford so he would not go to another organization.

Then he became a nice insurance policy once he started having his "grabber" episodes.

Too bad insecure Q and his lousy bench coaching got in the way and made it a "him or me" decision.

As posted earlier in the year Q has become Ditka or Guillen (take your pick).

Unapprochable and bigger than life since winning the Cup.

Add to that the disfunction has to end or this team will not win no matter what they do. That is caused and has been started from the TOP. Rocky is ultimately responsible but Mcdonough is ultimately the CAUSE. His way of running the show is a fucking cancer. Luckily the 2010 team was already to far into it for that cancer to ruin the chance at the Cup.

I am starting to get the feeling that Parise is going to sign with NJ. NJ has done a decent job getting their FAs signed and that might be attractive enough for him

Salvador thinks there is a chance he resigns. He's waiting on his resigning to see.

But how are they possibly able to afford all this? Hasn't the team borrowed money from the League? Talk about fiscal irresponsibility---their asses should be disqualified from the Parise sweepstakes just because they can't even pay for the operation of their team themselves without assistance! Heh.

Jackass would have Byfugliens babies

I wonder if the hawks did manage one or even both..,if Tallon wod be a trading parter for Hjall or maybe Bolland for Markstrom? That would then let them pursue Luongo?

NY Post says BS was waiting to see where Carle signed before he planned to decide.

Damn that's fucked up then because on Sunday it was reported that Carle said he was waiting to see where Suter signed first before he would decide. What a clusterfuck. I really have not liked the way these last two FAs have gone down with all the drama. Sighs.

On NHL Network last night they said Fatso has been calling him to help close the deal.
