4mil is good for 20g and 200 hits
Who else on the hawks have his size, ability?
He can play on any of the top 3 lines. Hawks have some nice LW depth now in Sharp, Saad and Bickell
I'm not sold on Pirri taking the second line. I haven't seen much of him other than the games as a hawk, but a few things I heard was 1-he didn't do too much early in the season when a lot if nhlers were playing in the AHL...and got most of his point after the lockout ended. And 2-I heard he's not the strongest with the puck - where going up against NHL defencemen/tight checking NHL forwards is going to give him some issues
I'd be open with going in with Pirri and Leblanc battling for that second line center...and save some $$ if needed to add someone at the TDL

Are we talking about Bickell? Or someone else?

He's never scored 20 goals, or recorded 200 hits. Even his numbers prorated this season (15 goals, 184 hits) don't touch those numbers. His 2013 playoff numbers are another story (32 goals, 303 hits prorated).

I'm not entirely sold on this deal, but I'm not upset either. So far, Bickell has proven that he is a streaky 15 goal, 150-175 hit guy. He got hot in the playoffs, no doubt. Also shown that when he wants to play, he can fit in on the top line. The question is, will he bring it every night? If he does, 20-25 goals is not out of the question, nor is 200 hits. But again, it hasn't happened yet. So it's a paycheck on potential.

I'm hoping it atleast falls somewhere in the middle of regular season Bickell and playoff Bickell, like you suggest - 20 goals, 200 hits.
