We sure as **** do... I posted that in multiple threads as soon as the Bolts bought him out.

He'd be amazing in the Indianhead. But he'll go to Toronto or Montreal.

He's old and would think he'd take a little break to sign with a real Cup contender.

Oh wait... we got Handzus for the 2C position.... but he played RW most of the time ONLY TAKING FACEOFFS. Learn to back check you old ****.

Discount not to mention the free millions from Tampa coming his way, really a good situation to scoop up a guy like him. But yes highly unlikely, just an interesting thought when we have just as much and more cap room than the team who will get him.

Not to mention the model franchise in the league, I would scoop up a Lecalvier tshirt jersey immediately.

He was on track 17 again this year. With top 6 ice-time I think 20/200 is realistic.

Good luck with that, they already have that beastly O'Reilly contract mess from last year. Vinny will probably go to Montreal or some shitty hockey town but I will say one thing, he will not have a better chance of winning a cup then he would in Chicago.

I'm stoked they resigned him, but like lots of others can't believe $4 million was a discount per say. Glad he is still a Blackhawk though.

Nope. One more year at his $6.6 mil and then he's UFA.

ETA: Which doesn't mean we can't Armchair GM poach him or any other C we want for 2C. Like Vinny! Or Vermette! Or Pavelski! :)

IKR? Like AS SOON as I saw the news update about Yzerman cutting him loose I was like "POUNCE!" In my Armchair GM Capgeek calculator plan we would have ditched who we expected---Bolland, Stalberg, Mayers, Handzus, buried who I zero fucks about like Bollig and Brookbank, re-signed Leddy and Kruger to RFA appropriate raises (if they went for it), retained a modest increase Roszival (if he went for it), and ultimately ditched overpaying Bickell while getting Vinny and finally letting some of the seasoned prospects get a chance and keeping the PK demons together. You know, I mean since I can't ever have nice things. . .like Vermette! LOL

I'd pay him that for about 2 years, by then one of our centers in the A should be ready to take his spot.

Maybe he would sign with a team like the Hawks for the one year needed to be in between getting bought out and then potentially returning to that team that bought him out. I'd pay him around 4 -4.5 m for that one season.

Bryan finally gets his name on the Cup, gets locked into Chicago and gets a contract that appears to be somewhat high but when you account for the last few seasons where he was well underpaid....

Congrats Bick!

Nah...he's not

I think COL will be moving him...if not before the season, by the TDL

With them having Duchene, O'Reilly and now McKinnon all as Centers, I think he gets moved. Hopefully east but I have a feeling STL may get him

Maybe Q doesn't like his size, lack of D/lack of back presure, strength on the puck?

I can't see them trading him to STL now that they are in the same division.
