Yeah....I hope not. Unless come the TDL, COL is so far out of it they don't give a crap who he goes to

I'll say this about Bickell as well.

He's probably not going to live up to the 4mil dollar contract during the regular season...and people should be prepared for that. It's very difficult for power wingers to play the whole season as he did in the playoffs (where he had 85hits in the 23gms..pace for 303 hits)

Bigger wingers like him, tend to go consistant to inconsistant over the course of the year. Therefore...expect him to spend time on the first line...as well as on the 3rd

But his value will be more come playoffs when his size/skill set will be more prominent

Bickell overpaid? Yes.

Though for his potential, you can't really find too many players like that in todays NHL.

Many folks forget that Bickell never really has been given a shot on the top lines yet. Play him with Toews and Kane and you could see some great things.

So wait everyone bitched when Bolland and Buff were paid on potential but now it is okay that Bickell is paid on potential?

I don't think/agree he's paid on potential

I think he's paid based on his skill set

And Byfuglien and Bolland were different because they were RFA's - not UFA

Bickell showed what he could do, aka his potential, in the playoffs. He's got the skill set already, it's the consistency.

The Hawks just gave him a bunch of money that some believe he didn't deserve. He's gonna have a lot more pressure now than he did making 500K a season. Hopefully, that pressure forces him to play at a consistent level.

Not to mention a power LW, this team doesn't exactly have growing on Trees. One who's now shown he can play with 19 and 88.

Buff was over paid on potential and easily could have won the Con Smythe in 2010.

We sure as **** do... I posted that in multiple threads as soon as the Bolts bought him out.

He'd be amazing in the Indianhead. But he'll go to Toronto or Montreal.

He's old and would think he'd take a little break to sign with a real Cup contender.

Oh wait... we got Handzus for the 2C position.... but he played RW most of the time ONLY TAKING FACEOFFS. Learn to back check you old ****.

14 points all season and 8 already in the playoffs.

Wish I could get paid to work two months out of the year.

That being said, I hope they fine Morin for his lack of playoff production.

It's better to earn your check in the playoffs rather than the regular season (ahem...Sharp)

Vinny....

And you need to learn to finish a full beer before you get paid for anything pussy

Although it is frustrating to watch him suck for the rest of the year, but hard to argue. Bick has been on fire and a key player.

Sharp? Who is that? Sure havent seen him... (C wat 3y3 did dere?!)

Lol you won't find me complaining about Bickell now. He is no longer unproven like the sieve we have in net.

And the one behind the bench?

Raanta was grandfathered in as proven thanks to Niemi.

Corey Huet on the other hand...

I really want to know though...how much better would they be with Vinny?

And did you return the Hawk jersey you bought with his name on it?

Your hindsight is 20/20.

At the time if you would have taken Handzus over vinny you would be crazy.

Now it looks like it would have been a lateral move.

I think Crawford moves more on the ice than Sharp
