Here is a player to start a conversation about, Luke Shenn. Keep that in mind since Leafs and the Hawks have had previous swaps. If it happens you heard it here.
Umm... we've been talking about it for like a week now.

Those 5 goals on 14 shots that Miller let in last night would surely fix the Blackhawks goalie woes. That being said he will probably shut out the Hawks tomorrow. Lol

I don't know, to be honest there are lots of possibilties, who really knows whats going on in Stan Seniors head. I just pray he makes the right decision. I really don't think you will see the big names move like Getz and Ryan, not untill this summer atleast. I see Sutter and Parisie and others in the less caliber.

I would be inclined to trade Crawford in a package to make a run at Ryan Miller.

From NHL.com

Sabres goalie Ryan Miller can't be any clearer with his words.

"I have not and will not ask for a trade," Miller told TSN via a text message. "I will fall on the 'Sabre' before that. Please no one ask me again."

Who started the rumor Miller asked for a trade?

I can't see the Sabres moving him. They have bigger issues in Buffalo than Millers lack luster play this year. Miller is still a good NHL goalie. Overpriced yes but still good. He's a goalie I think you build a defense around. There is no defense in Buffalo. Erhoff is their number 1 and hes all about offense. Not a large defensive team up front either as we saw last night. They have some scoring pieces with Pomminville, Vanek, Stafford. But dick all when it comes to defense really.

Watching the Jets hammer on the Sabres right now. Really Buffalo has some major defense issues. Millers not playing great either but hell thats bad defense. Ruff could be gone by tomorrow when the GM needs to take a hit also.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
If you are going to compare Ryan Miller to Chritobal Huet you need to turn in your user name and password.

What I've learned is that Detroit doesn't waste valuable cap space on goaltending, and it'd be pretty fucking stupid for the Blackhawksto do the same.

6 million dollars is quite expensive. I'd rather spend that 6 million on two defensemen who can play physical and get the puck out of the zone.

Just playing devils advocate but I don't think you can compare Howard to Crawford no matter what the monetary situation is. Although when I see Howard let one in from the Red Line I might change my mind. Didn't happen tonight.

I'm even starting to get impatient with Crawford. Not to mention it wouldn't be 6 mil as you'd have salary going the other way. You could get Miller and a top 5 D, but then the top 6 C they need would not be acquired, assuming there is one out there to be had. Then again Miller has another year after this.

We might have to give up a bit in prospects/players for Schenn. I have no problem with Gleason.

Well we have a surplus of those who are basically NHL ready. At some point we have to be smart and use them to fill the obvious holes on the team.

My guess Morin is one of them. You also have guys like Odonnell, Lepisto, Frolik, Bickell..... Although I like froliks game his salary is on the high side for what he brings.
